Question : I had a radical prostatectomy in July and pathology report says Stage pT3b with Seminal vessel invasion. After 30 days PSA came back less than .1 Doctor recommended Lupron shot for three months. Now my surgeon says I should not have gotten it. I was told impotence and loss of sex drive goes away once the medication is stopped. My question is how long does it take for Lupron side effect of impotence and lack of sex drive to go away.
