                                    Brief Answer:
Seen the reports
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Do you have previous years blood test reports? I would like to review them to see how bilirubin deviates on long term basis.
From this report I am suspecting some inflammation and iron and vitamin D deficiency. I will also like to have serum iron levels done for you. I also know if you have any symptoms. Kindly enumerate all symptoms and their duration. I want to differentiate between iron deficiency and thalasemia.
Iron and vitamin D deficiency can be easily resolved with supplements like dexorange syrup and calcirol sachets.
Waiting for your reply.

                                    Hi.
I have just two symptoms but not sure if it is related. There is a fluctuation in my weight. It keeps varying between 54 and 57kg. And I am unable to increase my weight to more than 57. The fluctuation of weight is recent, from about 5 months. Prior to that it has always been 56 or 57kg.
I have also noticed some skin scars whenever I get a bruise. The color of skin doesn't come back to normal. It is always too light or too dark compared to the rest of the parts. This symptom is been there for 7-8 months.

                                    Brief Answer:
There seems to be some inflammation
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
From your description, there seems to be some inflammation due to some underlying alteration of normal flora. This maybe causing your symptoms including somewhat higher bilirubin due to breakdown of higher RBCs. Although it would be helpful if you provided previous years blood reports and also serum iron levels.
I will suggest that you drink cleaner water, avoid any antibiotics, add more calories to your diet. Calories can be added in the form of fatty foods like cream, butter, ghee. You can raise a query for our dietician to help you with a diet chart for the same.
There also seems to be some malnutrition and you can add a multivitamin like Centrum or A to Z.

Thank you for your response. But i dont have any of the older blood test reports with me.
Can you also suggest any solution for the vitamin D deficiency? Is there any medication I might have to take for it?
Thank you

Its a multivitamin and prescription is not required
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Multivitamins do not require prescription. Abdec is a multivitamin. I think pharmacy is confusing it with some other medicine.
A valid prescription requires written prescription from a doctor.
We cannot provide written prescription.
