Hello,

I can understand your concern.

As per your history, I think the clay-colored stool may be due to the tab. Claritin. As disturbed hepatic function may cause clay-colored stool which is a very rare side effect of tablet Claritin.

Please let me know do you have any other symptoms like abdominal pain, decreased appetite, nausea, yellowish discoloration of eyes or skin? Kindly follow up with a detailed history.

In that case kindly do liver function test, ultrasound abdomen, complete hemogram after physician consultation. Take a balanced diet and avoid alcohol.

For sore throat, you can do saline water gargle or Betadine gargles. Kindly use nasal saline drops to get relief from stuffy nose. Take steam inhalation twice daily as well.

In case of fever, coughing with yellow or green phlegm you may require antibiotics and antipyretic after detailed medical examination and evaluation by the physician.
