Other conditions besides BPPV to consider.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask a Doctor " service.
I have read your query and here is my advice.
Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo episodes commonly last less than a minute and are triggered by certain head positions.
Lasting dizziness and flashes in eyes are not typical symptoms of BPPV, in my opinion, other conditions such as vestibular migraine, Ménière's disease, transient ischemic attack, etc. should be included in the possible diagnoses.
To complete the examinations necessary for a correct diagnosis I think a brain MRI is necessary besides the tests ordered by your ENT Doctor.
Discuss with your Doctor about these issues.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
