Question : I had an involuntary head tremor (no-no) for 6 weeks now. The EEG came back with seizure activity so neurologist prescribed me with Keppra. Now that I am taking medication for it, it seems to be transitioning back and forth between a voluntary and involuntary tremor as it all began when I would violently shake my head (no-no) due to frustration. I am starting to believe these head tremors may be psychogenic in nature due to severe anxiety/depression. Should I continue to work with a neurologist or should my efforts focus on working with psychiatrists and psychologists?

I have read your query.

Sonce the EEG results point towards seizures, you should work with your Neurologist.

This because seizures cannot be left untreated.

If brain injury is suspected after violent shaking of your head, the Neurologist can evaluate this aspect as well.

Brain imaging may also be necessary to evaluate correctly this possibility.

The Neurologist also can evaluate correctly if your condition is treatable by him or if there is necessary additional help from the Psychologist.
