Bacterial bronchitis possible.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.
This situation is known by people as the return of infection but it isn't really a return of infection it is a reinfection from another organism, possibly bacteria. If the first infection was a viral infection it is probably resolved but reinfection by a bacterial infection on the distracted mucosal lining may have happened.
You may need to visit a doctor to listen to your lungs and to do a x-ray of chest in order to check it.
I believe you may need to take antibiotics. Also mucus thinning medications such bromhexine, mucosolvan can be used.
Taking vitamin C also can help mucosal regeneration.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
