Question : I had my right middle knuckle swell up and felt blood swelling up in it. It is 2 to 3 times larger the the other one. It is soft to the touch. I think it seem like a vein could have burst there.

                                    Brief Answer:
Can be due to hematoma.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The swelling can be due to a hematoma formation due to an injury in the area. If it is painful then a bone injury needs to be ruled out after an X-ray. You need to keep the area immobilzed and get it examined by your physician for proper diagnosis.
I hope this answers your query.
