Question: I had pancreatic surgery 1 and a half years ago at the Mayo Clinic. I have been back 3 times, which the latest 2 weeks ago. The scans were very good. I noticed I lost about 2 pounds. Could this be related to my cancer. I do work out with some intensity twice a week. Could the weight loss be contributed to a recurrence.

Brief Answer:
Unlikely to be recurrence

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

As the scans are all good and you workout too, 2 lb weight loss is not significant. It is not related to recurrence in my opinion.

Continue follow up as advised and keep an eye on the weight. I am sure you will do well.

Hope this helps.
Regards
