I Had Ulcer Surgery 3 Weeks Ago And The Incision
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: I had ulcer surgery 3 weeks ago and the incision is healed but swollen
Brief Answer:
An ultrasound scan is required
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
As it is already three weeks old there is no signs of infection, most probably it will be a hypertrophic scar only.
However it will be better to go for an ultrasound to look for any collection or pus underneath the incision.
Consult a general surgeon and he will direct you accordingly.
Wishing all the best
