Question : I had very bad food poisoning 2 days ago.
Yesterday I was very tired , slept most of day
Don't feel up to doing anything today

Happened Sunday and today Tuesday.

Does it make sense that I just feel a little slow today. Don't feel like doing anything.

Feeling guilty that I don't want to move today. Question: Should I feel guilty? or makes sense need more rest.

. Recently his daughter (my sister) died a few weeks ago from diagnosis of stage 4 esophageal cancer and died 7 weeks after diagnosis.(maybe some underlying stress? I hope!)

Any thoughts on what is causing this?

Your symptoms seem to be related to the poisoning.

The poisoning may cause dehydration due to vomiting or diarrhea.

So, it is normal to feel tired and need rest.

You should not feel guilty.

I suggest to drink liquids and use an electrolyte solution such as Pedialyte.

I also suggest to eat healthy and sleep well to recover.

Regardening the second query, there are many causes related to esophageal cancer.

Stress is one of the causes.

Other causes can be smoking, alcohol consumption or acid reflux.
