Question : I have 4 small red scaly rashes like spits on my leg that almost look like a small burn area. The skin is peeling and red skin is exposed. This seemingly came out of nowhere. What is it?

Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have gone through your query and noted your concern.

They seem like lesions of impetigo which is a bacterial skin infection presenting as eroso-crusted lesions, sometimes with red, raw, oozy skin anywhere on the skin. I suggest you to use a topical antibiotic e.g either Mupirocin 2% cream or Fusidic acid 2% cream, twice daily. In addition I suggest you to take an oral antibiotic e.g either Amoxicillin or Cephalexin for a few days.
