Brief Answer:
Try to hold the head end raised. Give ORS.

Thanks for using the Ask a Doctor service.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concern. It is possible that the child is having abdominal colics. You need to hold the baby head-end elevated around 15-20 mins. The extra air taken in along with food may cause distention and hence colics. Proper burping will ensure its escape and the milk will not regurgitate back from the stomach to the food pipe, thus providing relief. You can give Coliaid Drops if you can fetch one from a local medicine shop.

Another possibility is that the child has suffered from an episode of acute gastritis or food poisoning and that could lead to throwing up as well as abdominal cramps. In that case management would be supportive and you need to give ORS (oral rehydration solution) to make up for the lost water and salts).

A clinical examination would be helpful and if possible it would be a good idea to visit a doctor if possible.
