Question : I have a constant burning and nausea in the pit of my stomach hours after eating. This has been going on for at least 3 months....and my stool is soft and yellow to beige in color. What could be causing this?

                                    Brief Answer:
Gastritis vs gall bladder issue...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Two possibilities that could be related are - gastritis or a gall bladder issue such as stone or inflammation. I would consider adding a prokinetic agent like domperidone with prilosec. An ultrasound scan of abdomen will be useful. You should discuss this complaint with your primary care physician and plan for scan. Other test may be performed after we have results of scan.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.
