1. How many days of fever is this?
2. Is there any rash over the body?
3. Is there any decreased oral intake?
4. Is the kid dull when in high grade fever and moving/ playing around when the fever touches the baseline?
5. Apart from fever - what are the other symptoms the kid experiencing like - body pains/ rash (can you upload an image please)/ joint pains/ sore throat/ urinary symptoms/ diarrhea/ nausea etc?
6. Is there any respiratory distress or fast breathing and difficulty in having food?
7. Are there any urinary symptoms...kindly elaborate like burning urination/ frequent urination?
8. Were any blood or urine cultures sent before starting antibiotic please?
9. What antibiotic the kid is on?

the kid was fever for 4 days, non-stop cough & cold, then parents bring the kid to the hospital. it's day 7th and the kid haven't eat anything and get his nutritions only from the IV. When he eating he's vomitting. There's no rush over the body, dull when fever high but playing when the fever decrease, no burning urination.

8. Were any blood or urine cultures sent before starting antibiotic please?-- Blood cultures yes, and the result already attached. we're doing the urine check now but this happen after the antibiotics and we're still waiting for the result.
The doctor told us there's lung infection which penetrate to the blood. Is it a right diagnosis?

I understand your concern.
I don't think this is a bacterial infection.
You have mentioned a very important fact that the kid is well abd active when temperature comes down.
By what you say I feel that your kid is going through a viral illness. This might be a common flu.
There can be many nonspecific symptoms like - headache, tummy pain, vomiting, diarrhea, body pains, cough (occasionally disturbing).
Unless the kid is having decreased urine output/ rash over the body / altered sensorium or respiratory distress you need not worry about it.
I will explain you how a viral illness behaves so that you can be more confident.
Fever of few days without any localizing signs could as well a viral illness. Usually rather than fever, what is more important is the activity of the child, in between 2 fever episodes on the same day. If the kid is active and playing around when there is no fever, it is probably viral illness and it doesn't require antibiotics at all. Once viral fever comes it will there for 4-7 days. So do not worry about duration if the kid is active.

Did you check the reports? The infection level is pretty high, how come it's just flu? Now, the kid is not active even when his body temperature is low.

I have seen the reports and the total count is within normal range and even the differential count is showing a equivocal response with increase in number of monocytes which can occur in chronic viral illness like epstein-barr virus.
