I Have A Lengthy Medical Record. I've Had Two Heart

Question: I have a lengthy medical record. I've had two heart attacks and had a triple bypass. It's been over 20 years ago. I had so many health problems and have not been going to doctors anymore because I got so tired of all my surgeries and dr. visits. I am now a widow and live alone. My current problem is for the past couple of weeks I have been having pains in and around the left side of my chest. For the last week I have had a lot of hurting in my left chest side and for two days my left side and left arm have been aching a lot, from my fingertips clear up my arm to my left shoulder and even my armpit. The whole arm hurts. Since I have put off going to doctors for awhile I can't decide if it's just an aching arm or something to be concerned about. I have had polio when I was little; cancer five times; stomach surgery; gallbladder surgery; lost my left kidney to cancer; and now have diabetes. I also have IBS-D which has kept me home for three years now, which is why I don't go to drs either. I've had a few accident while out in public so I avoid all going out anywhere. Since I'm so old already, should I just let it go and take my chances? Sorry about this lengthy tale but just thought I would ask an expert.
Brief Answer:
Heart attack possible, seek medical attention soon.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.
I think the main problem right now is the chest pain and arm pain you are currently having.
I think it is related to heart issues and may be a sign that you are at risk of heart attack and you may need to do an ECG and ultrasound of heart.
I think this aching arm and chest is something to worry about and get concerned. So seek medical attention soon.
You can use nifedipine under tongue immediately for pain.
All other issues you refer are not emergency and you can resolve them later.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
