Question : From past 10 years, I have a lipoma in left arm above the elbow joint, which is painful when pressed. It has not increased in size till now. Should I remove it?

                                    Brief Answer:
It's better to get it removed
Detailed Answer:
Hi
There is no medical treatment for Lipoma.
It has to be removed.
It's better to get it removed when it is small.Sometimes,it may grows rapidly and turns into Cancer(Liposarcoma).
So,get it removed. It can be done under Local Anaesthesia as Day case procedure.
Nothing to worry.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions,I will clarify further.
Wish you good health
Regards
