Question : Hi, I have a little dent inside my cheeks with few white bump spots (maybe fordyce). It doesn't do anything, no color changes, no pain and I don't feel anything, and it'sjust there. It's been a 2 months. I have shown 2 doctors and they were not able to clarify it. One doctor said maybe because of the loss of subcutaneous fat around the cheeks. I have lost around 15 lbs in the past 6 months. What could be the reason?

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The bump seem to be opening of the right parotid gland. The opening get prominent due to any inflammation. It can be Fordyce spot or any retention cyst to the buccal mucosa. It looks pale and may contain serous fluid in it. It doesn't seem to be any malignant growth from above. Take warm saline or betadine gargle. Take a zinc supplement. Press your parotid gland. If secretion is coming through the bump then it's obviously the opening of parotid gland. Observe for 3 week and review. You can do a USG neck with special focus on that area.Review with report.

                                    Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for the answer.
I pressed it and there's no fluid coming out from it. It looks dry and I don't feel any kind of pain or numbness. I take some vitamin supplements and I will add zinc supplement now.
Is there any kind of food I need to avoid?
Is there any connection to drinking and smoking? I drink moderately and quit smoking 6 months back.
I am attaching one more clear pics for your review.
I will keep a close eye on this for the next few weeks. If any changes occur, I will see the doctor.
