Brief Answer:
Do a total blood count with formula and an ultrasound.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I read your query and here is my advice.
I think, most probably, this can be related to an infection. It can be a skin , ear or throat infection.
In order to check for the cause you may need to do a total blood count with formula and an ultrasound of it.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks.
