Question : i have a lump under my skin at my groin. you cant feel it above the skin, but when you squeeze it you can tell theres a lump. its painless, duration 3 weeks.

I saw the picture.
It could be a Sebaceous cyst.It arises in relation to hair follicle.
As it is small,I prefer to remove the entire swelling under local Anaesthesia and send it for Histopathological examination (Biopsy).Exact diagnosis can be known.It can be done as Day case procedure.
Nothing to worry.

Lymph node in that area will be deeper.
Unless it is very much enlarged,it cannot be seen or felt.
You can get the swelling removed and send it for Biopsy.
Exact diagnosis will be known.
