Hello!

Welcome to Ask a Doctor service!

I understand your concern and would explain that it is OK to perform a tatoo in your medical condition.

Anyway, I would first recommend performing a new check up with your attending physician, including (complete blood count for anemia, blood electrolytes).

It is also recommendable taking a painkiller half an hour before performing the tattoo in order to reduce the pain and thus the reaction of your body to the pain.

As a doctor, it is my duty to show you the risks that imposes a tattoo, including the infection. For this reason, it is important performing it by a specialist of this field.

Hope to have been helpful!

Wishing good health,

Detailed Answer:
Hello again!

Your defibrillator is not an issue of concern, as its activity and normal functioning is not related to the presence of absence of a tattoo.

So nothing to worry about it!
