Question : I have a pain just below my sternum a little to the right.the pain is on and off sometimes it doesn't hurt for hours. It has been like that for 3 weeks

The possibilities are -
1. Peptic ulcer disease
2. Cholecystitis
Take Prilosec for relief.
If that is not providing relief, get an ultrasound scan done to rule out cholecystitis.

For the first week it hurt to touch that area. Now the pain just comes and goes movement doesn't trigger it all
