Pictures attached. started 3 days ago. using hydrocortisone cream for itching. anti-fungul for 3 days as well. does not seem to be doing much. this is sudden onset. no previous history of rashes of any kinds. I would like to attach a picture but do not know how.

could this be a fungal infection?

                                    Brief Answer:
Fungal infection
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have gone through your query and viewed the images.
I can see dry, ed patches which is most likely fungal infection. I suggest you to use a topical antifungal e.g either clotrimazole 1% cream or ketoconazole 2% cream, twice daily for a few days. In addition to this I suggest you to take an oral antihistamine e.g cetirizine 10mg tablet once a day for symptomatic relief from itching.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you need any more assistance
