Question : I have a red widespread bumpy itchy rash. It has not responded for any length of time to prednisone, cortisone shot, antihistsomine, or any anti itch creams or ointment. Ice seems to help, but all is temporary. We thought it started as itchy hives, but gets blistery in spots as well and has been going on for about 12 weeks. I have been to 2 dermatolgists

I would prefer to see a photo of the rash and blistering bumps that you are having.
I also want recommend you to do a total blood count and platelets count also IgE.
Also liver chemistry needs to be done.
There are several reasons for it. It can be even with allergic origin or infectious origin.
