Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history, albeit short and specific.
Please give additional information for me to assist you better:
Since when is the lump present?
What is the size now?
Any pain or tenderness?
Is the skin red?
Any pointing in the form of white point?
Any urinary or gastrointestinal symptoms?
Any medications tried?
Please post clear and focused photos if possible as these help a lot sometimes.
Awaiting for detailed feedback.
With Regards.

The lump appeared 1 week ago. The lump started very small, but has grown to about 1 inch now. It is not painful.

Detailed Answer:
Noted your short feedback.
Such a fast growing lump without any pain is difficult to pin-point for the cause hence should be seen, examined and investigated by the Doctor, preferably a General Surgeon.
Few things I can think about are:
Cyst that has been inflamed but not infected.
Developing fistula.
Subcutaneous edema or collection of lymph.
Please get examined and investigated and give feedback.
