Question : I have a small red blotch or sore on my chest that has been there for a few weeks and is not going away. Now it itches. It doesn't bleed, etc. nor does it have a scab on it. Are there any skin cancers that itch? I have a dermatologist appointment at the end of this month.

I have gone through your query and cancers usually are not associated with itching.
If could be either seborrhoic keratoses or some vascular growth.
