Question : I have a small reddish bluish bump around anus, it’s sore and hurts a little when I move but otherwise no other issues. If I’m sitting or lying down it doesn’t hurt as much and warm baths and cool packs help the soreness.

                                    Brief Answer:
Probably external hemorrhoids, follow the advice below.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Your symptoms seem to be related to external hemorrhoids.
Hemorrhoids are swollen veins in the anal area.
A physical examination is needed to confirm the diagnosis.
Some suggestions that I can give about the treatment are:
Use an over the counter hemorrhoids cream.
I recommend the Preparation H cream.
Also a 1% Hydrocortisone cream can be very helpful.
I also recommend witch XXXXXXX wipes which can be soothing.
Warm baths can also be very helpful.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further
