Question : I have a uti that has lasted for three days and yesterday my lower stomach started hurting, can you please suggest medication, as I am very uncomfortable.

Hi
I prescribe Antibiotic tablet like Norfloxacin 400mg twice daily or Nitrofurantoin 100mg twice daily for 5 days to my patients with UTI.
I also add Syrup containing DISODIUM HYDROGEN CITRATE (5ml.to be diluted in water ).
For lower abdominal pain,I prescribe antispasmodic tablet containing Dicyclomine twice daily after food.
Nothing to worry.
It will come down.
