Question : I have a vitamin D insufficiency of 28. Last Dec. it was 43. Diagnosed with osteoporosis at age 45. Recent fractures of pelvis and foot without accident or injury. Have given myself Forteo shots for 7-8 months, not currently. My rheumatologist has put me on 4000 IU Vit D. Result is diarrhea, cramping, bloating. How do I manage this?
