Life style changes required....
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Indigestion or dyspepsia is associated with a few gastrointestinal conditions like gastritis, GERD, liver and gall bladder issue. However most often the problem is related to diet and lifestyle. May I know your current height and weight. If you are overweight, have a sedentary life style without exercise and if you have irregular eating habits, then you will likely to have this problem persistently.
I would first suggest you to rectify dietary habits - eat small and frequent meals. Avoid spices. Restrict amount of lentils and legumes consumption. Restrict caffeinated drinks, bottled drinks, alcohol and smoking (if any). Start some exercises and keep yourself physically active. Along with these measure you may also take acid lowering drugs like capsule Pan D twice daily before meals for a week or two.
If the problem persist despite the aforementioned changes, I will urge you to see a doctor for physical evaluation.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.
Regards
