Question : I have an anxiety disorder and it has manifested to an irrational fear of dying. I%E2%80%99ve been to the clinic a few times in the last month to get tests run. I had an EKG, Chest XRay, metabolic panel, urinalysis, CBC, and thyroid function done. Also just a general physical. I have general neck and back pain and i think that might be something bad. I just have this constant urge to go back and recheck to make sure. I%E2%80%99m 37 years old, 215 pounds. All the tests came back OK. My postassium and BUN urea were a little low, and my MCHC OP was a little high. Docs weren%E2%80%99t concerned about anything. Would there be any need for any additional tests or is my irrational thought the main contributor here?

I agree

Dear Ma’am,
I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but I agree with your doctor that there is nothing concerning your test results...
I would not recommend that you go back to the hospital during the ongoing pandemic unless it is an absolute emergency.

So you think those tests are a pretty good assessment of overall health? The back and neck pain are most likely just muscle tension, but I tend to think it is something life threatening.
Brief Answer:
Yes
Detailed Answer:
Dear Ma’am, hello again.. These tests exclude any clinical cause however you can get a ct scan on your cervical and lumber vertebrae to exclude any disc prolapse.. This also should be mild if present as your symptoms are not severe. i hope you find this helpful..
