Taking count of your history of rheumatoid arthritis I think that this pain you are having on your elbow may be related to arthritis.
I think you may need to do a x-ray to check the elbow joint conditions.
Taking anti-inflammatory drugs such ibuprofen or naproxen may help you with pain and inflammation. Also keeping it at rest may be helpful.
