Question : I have atrial fib and was wondering if it is safe for me to drink theraflu for nasal congestion and cold like symptoms.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I understand your concern.

Most of the antiinflammatory medication can increase the risk of a heart attack.

There are not recommended to be used in atrial fibrillation.

The safest medication that you can use is Acetaminophen.

You can take Acetaminophen 500 mg three tablets a day.

Theraflu has Acetaminophen and other ingredients which are safe to use in atrial fibrillation.
