I Have Been Diagnosed With COPD But Again, Have Little To No Breathing Issues

Question: Hi, doctor. About 2 months ago, had a very bad flu. All symptoms pretty much subsided except that lungs (esp in the back by shoulder blades) ache almost constantly and feel inflammed at the same time. Have tried many OTC meds but with no relief. Have no issue with breathing, just can't seem to clear this up. Had a recent chest x-ray that showed "hyperinflated lungs" - wondering if u could suggest anything that could alleviate these very uncomfortable symptoms. Thank u so much.
Just wanted to add that I have been diagnosed with COPD but again, have little to no breathing issues and the inhaler my doctor prescribed does nothing to help with lung issue.
Just wondering if there may be a med to alleviate this aching and inflammation. Thank u again.

Brief Answer:
Start N acetyl cystine.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question,
Because of flu, lung inflammation is common especially if you have underlying lung disease like COPD.
So take N acetyl cystine 600mg twice a day after food.
Take paracetamol and ibuprofen combination twice a day after food.
Apply ice packs and warm water pad on affected areas of chest alternative.
Take your inhaler regularly.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health.
