Question : , I've been experiencing an itchy/flaky/discoloring rash which first started on my right aerola but has formed also on my left one. I keep running across info on "Pagets Disease" which has itchy aerola as the number one symptom.. I am very concerned and would appreciate any answers..

                                    Brief Answer:
fungal infection
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
Based on your description, the lesion you have could be due to a fungal infection. It usually occurs in the areas of least sun exposure and excess sweat.
I recommend the application of Miconazole ointment twice daily after thoroughly washing the affected part.
In case on intense itching you can take CPM 4mg tablet for relief . This has to be taken in the night after food for not more than 5 days.
Hope, I answered your query.
Wish you good health.
regards,
