Question : I have been experiencing cramps in my right calf and thigh for the last month. Had my bloods checked and my thyroid meds had to be increased. Have since had twitching or crawling sensation in leg and worried that it could me ALS

ALS seems unlikely.

In your case, muscle cramps in one leg may be linked with electrolyte imbalance, possible adverse effects of the medications that you are using, especially reinforced by the fact that symptoms started right after increasing the dose.

So, there is no reason to think about ALS.

Furthermore, ALS debuts with a complexity of symptoms, mainly muscle weakness, and other symptoms that progress with time.

Thank you it was the crawling twitching in my leg that started after the medication the cramp was the reason I went to Gp to check my levels . I can’t see the twitching I just feel it
