I Have Been Experiencing Pain And Bloating In My Lower

Constipation is likely the cause of your symptoms
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to 'Ask a Doctor' service,
I carefully read your query and understand your concern.
There are several causes of pain in the lower abdomen but when associated with bloating very likely it is due to problems with the bowel and the most common one is constipation.
I would advise you to take Movicol 2 sachets a day till you are better and then you can take one XXXXXXX a day for another couple of weeks. Make sure you take food high in fiber and also drink plenty of fluids.
Being active and exercising may also help.
If you notice no improvement with your symptoms in a week or you notice any worsening, you should see your doctor.
I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Constipation may cause frequent but small hard bowel movement
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome back,
Sorry for the late reply.
Because you have bowel movement changes with the cramps and bloatness it is clear a bowel problem is the issue.
If you have several bowel movements a day but small and you do not feel relieved after having a bowel movement, this can be constipation.
If you have several looser bowel movements a day (looser than usual) than you are having diarrhea, and depending on how many days you have these symptoms, the cause will depend as well.
Please let me know of the following:
- how often do you have a bowel movement?
- do you notice blood or mucus (secretions) in them?
- do you have weight loss?
- do you notice any relation between the bloating and cramps with certain foods?
Waiting to hear from you soon.
Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj
