Question : I have been feeling nauseous in the morning. yesterday morning I was fine. this morning I threw up some of my cheeseburger I had for dinner. this has been going on for a month where every two days or so I get nauseous. I noticed two of the times I got sick, I had played basketball the previous day. I am not overweight and I am a 21-year-old male. I do not know why I am vomiting some mornings or feeling nauseous. this usually goes on for three hours or so
ok, If I had gallstones wouldn't I have pain? I have no pain. just discomfort from nausea no sharp pains
Brief Answer:
Usually, yes
Detailed Answer:
Hi again,
It is correct, that the principal symptom of gallstones is intermittent, colic pain under the (right) rib cage. But it is important to keep all possibilities open. The Ultrasound will clarify this with certainty.
