I Have Been Having A Little Difficulty Breathing The Past

Question: I have been having a little difficulty breathing the past 3 days, thinking it might be anxiety. I checked my pulse tonight as my chest was hurting again and my pulse is approximately 55BPM and my blood pressure readings have been 130/85; 123/91; 153/86; 146/81. I am almost 29 and approximately 165LBS and 5' 10. I am somewhat active but not athletic. Is this something I should go to the hospital for tonight, or should I see a doctor the next business day?

Brief Answer:
Basic evaluation is required

Detailed Answer:
Hello

After going through the medical details provided by you I would like to tell you that although the symptoms are not suggestive of any medical emergency but however as your blood pressure is slightly towards the higher side so it’s important to get a basic cardiac evaluation done.

1. Ecg
2. Echocardiogram

Just relax as anxiety also increases blood pressure and keep a record of your daily blood pressure for few days and get a consultation as early possible.

Kind Regards
