This has been going on for about 6 weeks. Occasionally it is uncomfortable when I urinate, but only after holding it for a long period of time. I had my yearly OBGYN check up about 4 months ago and they found no abnormalities. The medicine I listed in the initial consult is the only medicine I have tried. I am married.

You have not mentioned medicines anywhere, please post the medicines.
Your history is most probably suggestive of some urinary tract problem.
These can be related to infection, irritable bladder, may be stones or so.
Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Have preliminary check up and request for investigations of Urine: routine, microscopy. culture and sensitivity.
Ultrasound of whole abdomen.
Tests of blood for WBC and kidney function tests.
It is worth to have a proper diagnosis before the specific treatment is started with. The above investigations will help to get a proper diagnosis and have opinion of Urologist if required.Gynecologist can help in diagnosis and management only if the problem is associated with some Gyne/Obstetrician related problems.
Till then you can have plenty of oral fluids. This alone can be the answer for your problems.
