Question : I have been on a strict low FODMAP diet for 2 years.
I have had 2 colonoscopys both clear all good.
I take a low grade thyroid pill.
Up until a month ago I drank Gluten free beer or scotch on Saturdays
After eating I now feel tired and heavy in my head for 1- 2 hours.
Last week one day I experienced a series of symptoms like never before, heavy head, tired, foggy brain, agitated, sinus migraine behind my eyes and sinus, migraine headache shooting front to back, pressure on my temples and mild nausea. They all went away. Haven't had them since other than the heavy head and low grade tinunitus.
However what is odd is when I attempted to drink a scotch and water I got a splitting migraine on the first sip. I stopped drinking and it went away.
What is going on with me ? My GP referred me to a Neurologist but I don't think that's the correct specialist. I need help.
