Looking like pityriasis versicolor, answer few questions
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor service
I have gone through your query and reviewed the attached photograph.
It is looking like pityriasis versicolor which is a superficial fungal infection of the skin.
I need to ask you few questions:
What is the duration of the rash?
Do you have any itching or burning on it?
Is it present anywhere else on the body?
How long have you used lotrimin cream on it?
Kindly revert with the answers.
Regards
Dr Asmeet

                                    Brief Answer:
Fungal infection will take time to respond, continue this cream for 2-3 wks
Detailed Answer:
4 days is too less a duration to see the effects of the medicine.
You need to continue lotrimin cream for at least 2-3 weeks to see response as fungal infection is slow to respond.
For itching take antihistaminic like tablet cetrizine 10 mg once daily at bedtime for 10 days.
