Brief Answer:
Not to worry, take ATV in an altered dose.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service.
Thanks for posting your query.

You are taking a comparatively older regimen. You had not mentioned how long you are on this regimen and your current or recent HIV viral load and CD4 count and CD4: CD8 ratio.

Actually the dose of Atazanavir is 400 mg daily.

To reduce its toxicity and to increase its efficacy it is usually combined with Ritonavir in the dose of ATV 300 MG+ Ritonovir 100 mg (boosted dose).

If you are not able to procure ATV/r (300+100), you can take Ataznavir 200 mg twice daily without Ritonovir boosting for 4 weeks along with NRTI (AZT+3TC) and after you return home you can continue the same old dosage regimen of ATV/R: 300/100.

I am undetectable. So take the ATAZANAVIR 2 times a day and the LAMIVUDINA and ZIDOVUDINA as I have been 1 pill each time I take the ATAZANAVIR. Is this correct?
