Hi,

I understand your concern. In this circumstance, I would suggest to remain isolated. Keep away from young children and elders. Make sure you wash hands frequently. Avoid shaking hands with others. Avoid touching common house hold items and if necessary apply moisturizers. Also encourage other to regularly sanitize hands.

In the meanwhile start symptomatic treatment like gargling with XXXXXXX warm water + salt. Start antihistamine drugs like tab cetrizine 10mg at night for 3-5 days. Tab calpol 500mg as and when you notice fever.

Often the symptom would resolve in a few days. If you develop high grade fever or if the symptoms persist beyond 5 days contact doctor for further testing / evaluation.
