                                    Brief Answer:
The CT scan images are in 2D and can be reconstructed to 3D if the images are in thin sections
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.
The CT scan images are in 2D and can be reconstructed to 3D if the images are in thin sections.
The images with the colon showing fecal matter will be provided to you. However asking for an image of only the colon is not always possible unless they have done a colonography, and is less likely in your scan.
I am a radiologist doctor and have less knowledge about the treatment of bloating. However you might like to connect to a dietitian and get detailed information on supplements.
Regards,

Thank you, to clarify. The report said stool throughout the colon. Does this mean the whole colon was visualized. Can I contact radiologist who read the image.

                                    Brief Answer:
You can talk to the radiologist who reported the images
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.
The colon has a larger lumen than the small bowel. This makes it easy to visualise the colon on the CT scan images. It can the complete length of the colon is visualised in your CT abdomen scan images and stools are filling up the lumen.
You can talk to the radiologist who reported the images.
