Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
1. If there is no fever, and this cough, cold and throat irritation is only since a day or two, you can manage this with the following treatment:
2. An anti-histamine (such as fexofenafine 120 mg once a day), a cough mixture (such as Ascoril-D one teaspoon twice a day), a medicated gargle/oral rinse (such as benzydamine 0.15%) and steam inhalation should suffice.
3. If no improvement within 48-72 hours, please visit a local doctor.
4. If you can add more details such as duration, severity and so on, it will be helpful.
I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be available to answer them.
Regards.

Hi,
Thank you for following up.
1. The same medicines need to be given in pediatric doses as per the age and body weight of your child. Gargling will not be possible.
2. Hence it is recommended that you show your child to a pediatrician in your area as soon as posssible. Since children cannot explain their symptoms, it is not advisable to assume any.
3. Avoid any medication till direct examination is done by a local doctor.
