Question : I have cyst in my right ovary at 4cm and had a Laprascope done in May and after that I see this cyct coming. earlier it use to be polysistic ovaries. what should I do now. attached my recent and last month scan report.

Hi,

I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply:

1) You seem to have undergone laparoscopic ovarian drilling for polycystic ovaries (PCO).

2) Laparoscopy is not permanent treatment for PCO and it is likely that PCO will not get permanently removed. It is going to be there all your life.

3) Good news is that PCO will not impact pregnancy chances.You cana keep trying for pregnancy under a fertility specialist.
