Question : I have developed a very weird shocking sensation followed by a searing pain for a few seconds with no indication of when it is coming by my right knee. It stops me in my tracks when it strikes.
Brief Answer:
Nerve impingement
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
The sensation you describe could be paraesthesia. If this occasionally associated with pain in a limb usually indicated nerve pinched at the exit in the spine.
This happens when there is degenerative or traumatic damage to the spine.
You may have to consult a Neurosurgeon who can clinically examine and ascertain the condition.
I Hope, I answered your query.
Wish you good health.
Regards,
