Male, 32yrs,
Have myopia (near-sightedness) since 2012.
I wear glasses. Eye power is between 1.25-1.5.

I have not consulted any opthalmologist regarding floaters.

Hi as you are having Myopia you should get slit lamp examination and retinal examination by dialating your eyes. This can be done only by the opthamologist in the hospital setting. I advice you to not delay your appointment as many a times a simple flotters will be the symptom for some retinal pathology.

Following thing may require emergency visit to opthalmologist.

Many more eye floaters than usual
A sudden onset of new floaters
Flashes of light in the same eye as the floaters
Darkness on any side or sides of your vision (peripheral vision loss)
