Question : I have flank pain sometimes both sides, and lower back pain. Sore(not excruciating) when i bend over. Have had it for a couple of months. Had an ultrasound and they couldn't find anything, although pancreas was clouded by bowel gas. Tested urine and said there was puss in urine and gave me antibiotics as they said it was UCT. Asked about unprotected sex, which i hadn't done. The original pain which was sharp and uncomfortable and dissipated after antibiotics but there is still discomfort and pain. I'm worried as it has been 3 months now. Thanks.

As the remaining tests are normal, I would suggest you go for a repeat urine routine and culture sensitivity test to rule out any recurrent urinary tract infection.

If urinary tract infection is found out treatment with antibiotics like Nitrofurantoin and a mild painkiller for a few days.
