Question : I have for about 3 months a lump on my left buttocks (not round-about 3 inches long and maybe1inch in diam) it is not painful. It is from the anus toward the vigina . when I sit on a hard surface It feels like O am sitting on a little balloon

As per your description,it looks like a Lipoma i.e.collection of fat.
I prefer an Ultrasound of the area.It gives a clue about the swelling.Accurate diagnosis can be obtained from FNAC (Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology)of the swelling.If Lipoma is confirmed, Surgical removal is the only option.
